some people just like to resist the hints we give them (some not so subtle – cue picture 2) and just like to live in their world of oblivion where no one else might have different values around gender identity or expression beyond the good ol’ fashion binaru. assumptions are the root of all evil – resist the disciplining of your body. Gender is just no fun if you have no say in its production! Ultimately those who would use such terns are the ones who look stupid – ‘lady’ is a quite rediculous fit on you. I suppose it also comes with a patronising ‘young’ in front of it?
“Gender is no fun if you have no say in its production” is going to become my mantra. And fun is definitely, definitely necessary.
It is good to hear that lady feels like an odd fit for me.
